Lotsen was the third speaker to be launched for Urbanears. As part of Zound Industries inhouse team, we developed the packaging for Lotsen as well as for its two bigger siblings Stammen and Baggen. Since there were no previous speaker packaging’s to be inspired from, we had to translate the headphone packaging’s designs values into a new kind of packaging with totally different requirements. The packaging is paper based except for the speaker protective bag that is made from recyclable plastic. The box is made of corrugated board and the inserts is made of paper pulp, molded for perfect fit for the speaker and accessories.
